Installation Notes for Engineers
SILVER Coriolis mass flow meters do not require straight pipe runs like electromagnetic or vortex meters. You can mount them close to an elbow or pump. The meter must be full of liquid during measurement. For gas measurement, keep the process pressure above the vapor pressure of the fluid. For liquids with entrained gas, install the meter at a low point or use a higher back pressure. For high viscosity fluids above 100 cP, check the pressure drop before selecting the size.
