The correct method and wiring points for installing the Kaifeng electromagnetic flowmeter are as follows:
1. Installation requirements: The installation direction and electrode position sensor can be installed vertically, horizontally, or obliquely, but it is necessary to ensure that the center line of the two electrodes is in a horizontal state to avoid measurement errors caused by uneven distribution of the medium.
. When installed horizontally, the electrode must not be located directly above the pipeline (which may accumulate gas) or directly below (which may deposit solid particles). The installation position of the medium full tube requires ensuring the flow of the medium full tube to prevent gas adsorption on the electrode or the medium not filling the tube from affecting the measurement. If the medium is not fully filled in the pipeline, the square stroke method can be used to raise the rear pipeline of the flowmeter to fill the pipeline. It is strictly prohibited to install it at the highest point or outlet of the pipeline (which is prone to gas accumulation). The length of the straight pipe section before and after the flowmeter needs to retain sufficient straight pipe sections to stabilize the flow field: the length of the front (upstream) straight pipe section: ≥ 10 times the pipe diameter (10DN).
